

When you think you are close enough, get closer! Keep in mind that the light from your strobes actually travels twice the distance between you and your subject by the time it completes its round trip and enters your camera. Always try to get close to your subject as possible. Like natural light itself, the light emitted by your strobes also gets absorbed by the water.
